On behalf of a Blue-Chip bank, we are now seeking for a seasoned finance professional with sound exposure in fund transfer pricing (FTP) to join the Asset Liability Management(ALM) Team as a Manager. This role will focus on FTP management and will report directly to the Vice President. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of FTP concepts and the ability to apply them effectively within the bank's ALM operations.

- Conduct a comprehensive review of the bank's existing FTP management policy and identify areas for improvement. Enhance and refine the policy to ensure it aligns with current market conditions and the bank's ALM strategy.
- Continuously monitor and maintain the FTP curves, making adjustments as needed to reflect the latest market trends and the bank's evolving asset and liability profile. Keep accurate records of any special FTP applications or deviations from the standard curves.
- Respond promptly to FTP quote requests received from various business units within the bank. Provide transparent and well-justified FTP rates to support the decision-making processes of these units.
- Work closely with the IT team to submit system change requests for implementing FTP-related enhancements. Thoroughly test the new functionality through user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure a seamless integration with the bank's broader ALM system.
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses and reports on ALM and FTP-related issues as requested by senior management
skills & experiences required.
... - Degree holder of Accounting, Finance or equivalent discipline, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in balance sheet management, FTP management, and a solid understanding of the broader banking business
- Experienced in PRC banks is a must
- Possession of a Hong Kong permanent residency holder status is a requirement for this position
- Demonstrated expertise in foreign exchange, bonds, swaps, and other treasury products, showcasing a robust knowledge of these financial instruments and their applications
- Strong analytical capabilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective communication abilities
- Proficiency in utilizing Bloomberg, Reuters, and Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Additional experience with VBA programming would be considered a valuable asset
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including the Mandarin dialect
